SRI Rankings
History
Ranking Software grew out of a
methodology called SRI Rankings, developed in 1995 initially to rate
professional tennis players. It was soon being used successfully in
predicting football results in a number of codes. Please note that the
links below have not yet been brought across to the Ranking Software
look-and-feel.
Aim
SRI Rankings aims to produce
the world's best rankings -
the most mathematically sound rankings of professional sport. Ranking
methods
should be judged primarily on their predictive ability, which requires
rigorous research, accurate modelling, and thorough testing. SRI
Rankings performs all three, and displays the results on this website.
